SUMMARY
ISG Jubail seeks a dynamic Instructional Assistant with a passion for involving students in all areas of elementary classes. The ideal candidate will have experience inspiring students to become conscientious and compassionate thinkers and global citizens. The individual will demonstrate a commitment to a well-rounded and flexible elementary program that encompasses interdisciplinary connections and authentic / relevant learning experiences. ISG Jubail has a strong sense of community. The successful candidate would be committed to contributing to the whole school community beyond the confines of the elementary program. JOB DUTIES

QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE
The candidate must have:
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of Understanding by Design (UbD) principles and interdisciplinary planning.
- Proficiency in the use of the app Seesaw.
- Expertise in using Google Apps for Education.
- Understanding of conceptual based mathematics.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience
- In using the Lucy Calkins Readers and Writers workshop model.
- Working in close partnership with teachers to establish an appropriate child-centered learning environment.
- Participating fully in the preparation, planning and delivery of child-centered learning activities.
- Supporting individuals and groups of children.
- Helping to ensure that the classroom environment is well-managed, properly ordered and effectively presented.
