Interns will work within a designated central office department, develop professional and cultural competencies, and receive mentorship to support personal growth, teamwork, and workplace readiness. The position is primarily responsible for producing a wide range of media (photography, video and graphics), editing as necessary, designing print-ready artwork, managing ASD social media and maintaining a close working relationship with the marketing and communication office, the ASD teachers and administrators and other ISG media specialists.&nbsp;</p><h2>Position Duties</h2><p><span></span></p><p><span></span></p><p>The successful candidate will be able to effectively:</p><ul><li>Demonstrate commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (<a href="https://www.isg.edu.sa/about/child-protection">child protection</a>).</li><li>Stay informed of events and activities happening at the school.</li><li>Get to know the teachers and the curriculum and develop a strong relationship with staff.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop a strong understanding of the school’s culture and activities.</li><li>Manage the ASD social media accounts (Instagram and Facebook), in alignment with ASD and ISG branding and Social Media</li><li>Guidelines, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating an engaged social media community.</li><li>Take pictures using a smartphone or DSLR camera and edit them as needed.</li><li>Produce, develop and implement social media content daily.</li><li>Record, edit, produce and ensure high quality copy, photography, audio, video material and edit as necessary and at all times.</li><li>Write compelling copy for Facebook and Instagram that encourages engagement and interaction.</li><li>Work with a wide range of media to produce all photography, illustrations, design, infographics and presentations.</li><li>Post on social media feed and stories, create reels and videos according to the social media marketing plan and as needed.</li><li>Take initiative in prioritizing tasks to ensure deadlines are met.</li><li>Respond to urgent requests from the MarComm office.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop design briefs that suit purpose, creatively produce new ideas and concepts.</li><li>Work with designers to create graphics for posts.</li><li>Source and liaise with printers.</li><li>Project manage production from conception to completion.</li><li>Record monthly data analytics for the ASD Instagram page</li><li>Stay up to date on activities and events happening at school.</li><li>Stay up to date with social media trends, concepts, best practices, updates, procedures, tools and software and make recommendations as needed.</li><li>Assist in identifying potential appropriate social media channels for future use.</li><li>Stay after work or work weekends for after school activities, athletic events and special events, as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Set up a photo studio and take photos of students and staff for the yearbook.</li><li>Maintain communication and working relationship with all stakeholders: ASD principal, staff and teachers,&nbsp; MarComm team and admissions team.</li><li>Respond to queries received through social media in a professional manner. Encourage and respond to positive community engagement on social media</li><li>Think and act quickly with a dynamic approach to problem-solving.</li><li>Take direction from the ISG social media and alumni coordinator.
